Arnoldsville - Mitzi Joyce Shane, 75, died August 18, 2008.
Born in Landrum, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Frank and Mary Stevens Dodd and widow of John Arthur Stone. She was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10 AM at Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Lester officiating.
Survivors include her aunt and uncle, Guy and Nell Hardman of Arnoldsville; niece, Tammy Shane of Sterling Heights, Mich.; and a number of cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandy Cross Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
Lord and Stephens, Oglethorpe Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
