Misty Michelle Myrick

Misty Michelle Myrick, age 38 from Florence, AL but has resided at 190 Aycock Road, Lexington, GA for the last 18 years.

Misty was born on March 3, 1975 and died May 29, 2013. Misty Michelle Myrick was a waitress for Waffle House for 20 years. She called it her home away from home. She was a very sweet, loving and generous woman who always brightened every ones day with a smile. She was a wonderful amazing mother and wife. Her daughter and husband were her entire world. She loved to work, do arts and crafts, and to sing with her daughter. She was a huge fan of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She was also a big fan of Alabama Crimson Tide and Georgia Bulldogs. One of her favorite things to do was to watch the sun set with her husband and daughter. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Laymon Myrick (Florence, AL) and grandparents Bill and Geneva Corlis (Huntsville, AL).

Survivors include her husband, Edward "Eddie" Taylor of Lexington, GA, wonderful daughter, Tabitha Taylor of Lexington, GA, one brother Michael Myrick of Florence, AL, father, Bobby Myrick of Florence, AL, mother, Pam Mann and husband, James Mann of Tuscumbia, AL, mother in law Mildred Taylor of Lexington, GA and father in law, Joe Taylor, grandmother, Betty Myrick, several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins on both sides of her family.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Austin Thomason, Scott Aycock, Dewayne Taylor, Joey Taylor, David Staggs, Jack Lawrence, James Mann and Andrew Mann.

Misty was loved by everyone and never met a stranger. She had a huge heart and would help anyone she could. Her smile will be truly missed by many and loved by all.
