Miriam Patricia Thompson

Miriam Patricia Thompson, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the age of 87.

Born in Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Tildon Lee Dillard and Ruth Stone Dillard. Mrs. Thompson was a member of East Athens Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, CW Thompson; her son, Scott Thompson and her siblings, Robert Dillard, JW Dillard, Marie Landers, Eloise Fouche, Betty Allen, Hazel Gay and Frances Dillard.

Survivors include her sons, Ricky Thompson (Peggy) and Stanley Thompson (Teresa); six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Tara Thompson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow in the Gordon’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 until 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
