Athens - Miriam N. Davee, 65, died December 27, 2005.
A native of Berlin, New Hampshire, she was a daughter of the late Leon and Marion Whitcomb Newell. A graduate of East Hampton Massachusetts High School, she attended the University of New Hampshire. She was a former resident of Simsbury, Connecticut and lived in Athens, GA for thirty-three years, where she was a member of St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church.
Memorial services will be Saturday, December 31, 2005, at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, James E. Davee; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and James Gauvain of Lawrenceville, Diane and Don Parr of Watkinsville, and Heidi Davee of Atlanta, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Anne-Marie Davee of Freeport, Maine; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Gregory The Great Episcopal Church, 3195 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
