Minnie Lou "Mickey" (Threlkeld) Stroud

Minnie Lou "Mickey" Stroud, 95, died September 3, 2013.
Mickey was the daughter of the late T.L. and Sara Frances Epps Threlkeld. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ray Stroud, daughter, Sandra Ann Hahn and special friend, Marvin E. VanVleck. For a number of years, she was employed with Dairy Pak and was retired from UGA (Georgia Center). Mickey was a charter member of Athens Pilot Club and member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church. She was a longtime resident of Lanier Gardens.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jeff Ingram; grandson, Greg Ingram and his wife, Whitney; great grandchildren, Hudson and Haven Ingram and nephew, Doug Threlkeld.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
Private burial will be at Oconee Hill Cemetery.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to caregivers, Wanda Williams and Sofia Minaya, for their dedicated care.
