Miller Alton Tucker

May 29, 1944 — September 17, 2023

Miller Alton Tucker, 79, husband of Barbara Nation Tucker, died on September 17, 2023. Born in Waynesboro, GA, he was the son of the late Thomas Alton Tucker and Lorene Dellinger Tucker. Miller retired from Baldor (Reliance Electric) in April of 2011 after 41 years of dedicated service. He proudly served in the US Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved gardening since farming was in his blood.  He always had many farm animals he enjoyed, especially his chickens.  He loved hunting and fishing.  He was a warm-hearted man who also enjoyed helping others and always put others' needs ahead of his own. Survivors in addition to his wife of almost 56 years include a daughter and son in law: Melinda Ann Lindmier and Daniel James Lindmier of Crawford, GA; grandchildren: Danielle Grace Lindmier of Athens, GA and Joshua Alton Lindmier of Crawford, GA; siblings: Winnie Fox of Charlotte, NC, Virginia Moore of Crawford, GA, Lona Ellen Saville of Maysville, GA, Thelma Diane Jones of Danielsville, GA and Tracy Tucker of Maxeys, GA. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11AM at Winterville Cemetery.
