Mildred Dalton Lyle, 79, died July 9, 2012.
Born in White County, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson and Viola Smith Dalton. She lived most of her life in Athens and was a former employee of Athens Regional Medical Center, Better Maid Dairies and Southeastern Rubber. Mrs. Lyle was a longtime member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Wesley Sunday School Class.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Rev. Richard Moeller officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Rich Lyle; sons, David Lyle (Elizabeth) of Arlington, VA and Eddie Lyle (Dorrie) of Moreno Valley, CA; sisters, Agnes Skelton and Eloise Edwards, both of Athens and two grandchildren, Burke Lyle and Drew Lyle.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
