Michele Caudle West

Michele Caudle West, 48, lost her four year battle with Colon Cancer on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at her home in Watkinsville, GA. Born in Columbia, Missouri, Michele was the daughter of Dr. Alfred B. Caudle and Charlotte Ball Caudle of Watkinsville; mother to Brooke West of Buford, Morgan West and Carter West of Watkinsville; sister to Brian (Alison) Caudle and Jason (India) Caudle of Watkinsville and fiancé to Mark Millard. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Michele was a graduate of Athens Academy, received her BS in Criminal Justice from the University of Georgia and her Associates in Nursing from Athens Tech. She had worked at Athens Regional Medical Center as a Nurse in the ER for 21 years. The family will receive friends Friday, March 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 at Lord & Stephens West. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11AM in the chapel of Lord & Stephens West with burial following in Oconee Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support. Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
