Statham - Michael Alan Orange, 39, died Saturday, March 11, 2006.
Michael was born December 28, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a partner and appraiser with The Wilson Group. He had attended Briarwood Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and dedicated father. He was an avid golfer and member of The Georgia Club. Mike will be remembered as a loyal son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Mike was most dedicated to his daughter, Avery and his main goal in life was to be a wonderful father.
Survivors include his wife, Paige Hix Orange, daughter, Avery Elizabeth Orange, parents, Charles and Sandra Moore of Acworth, GA, brothers; Bobby Orange of Rome, GA, Doug Orange of Indianapolis, IN, maternal grandmother, Frances Moore of Acworth, GA, father and mother in law, William and Jackie Hix of Salem, AL, brother in law, Keith Hix of Leesburg, GA, grand mother in law, Colleen McCranie of Columbus, GA and nieces and nephews; Justin Orange, Kristin Orange, Emily Orange, Josh Orange, Jacob Orange, Chandler Orange, Maximus Orange, Alex Polk, Cassidy Hix.
A memorial service will be held 2PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Rick Standard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Gillespie, Joe Wilson, Chuck Vanderford, Rodney Dove, Brian Baker, David Hamm, Randall Popham, John Stiles, Paul Oskins, Brett Evilsizor, Andy Eastman, Wyatt Hogue, Al Coughlin, Greg Maples, Curt Stinespring
