Michael W. Holcomb

Michael “Mike” Winston Holcomb, 64, of Colbert, passed away on July 28, 2024. Born on November 24, 1959, he was the son of the late James Winston Holcomb and Crystal Alberta Nielson.

Mike was a vibrant, free-spirited person who was always the life of the party and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He loved intensely and always lent a hand to those who needed it. He enjoyed fishing and expressing his creativity through a variety of art mediums. He was consistent in his planning of the Nelson Family Reunions and loved to organize every detail.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Holcomb.

Survivors include his children, Ashley Holcomb (Logan Sasser), Brian Holcomb (Rachel); grandchildren, Audrey, Christian, Jonah Sasser, Julian Sasser; brother, Craig Holcomb (Julie); nephew, Kerry Holcomb; lifelong family friends, Alyce and Tim Fortson; additional extended family and many friends who will miss him whole heartedly.
