Michael Patrick Gallagher

Michael “Mike” Patrick Gallagher, 43, passed away on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 in Athens, Georgia. He spent most of his life working in construction or electrical positions. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Gallagher. He is survived by his mother, Celeste Gallagher, sister, Shannon (Gallagher) Leon, brother in law, Roy Leon and Godson and Nephew, Vincent Leon. He is also survived by his long time partner of 10 years, Hope Tischner and her son Christopher Deneen and their beloved pitbull, Lola. Mike was also loved by a large circle of family and friends. Mike thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors, mountains, fresh air, and traveling but most of all, listening to different types of music. There will be no funeral services, but in Mike’s honor and name we ask that you make a monetary “tribute donation” of your choice to www.savethemanatee.org, a conservation effort that he was passionate about.
