Lexington - Mervin Aubrey Tiller, 68, died October 28, 2005.
A native of Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late Vincent C. and Irene Chafin Tiller. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Lexington American Legion Post 123. Mr. Tiller was retired from Mastercraft.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 31, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Glen Guest officiating. Interment will be in Clarke Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donald Christy, Ralph Peterman, Tim Allen, Wayne Ledford, Amory Smith and Robert Huff.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Tiller; sisters, Nelda Scarborough of Elberton and Bertha Christian of Lexington; brother, Vince Tiller of Lexington.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
