Melissa Russell

Melissa Wood Russell, 58, died on December 21, 2024. Born in Amarillo, TX, she was the daughter of Victory Wood of TX and the late Frances Coley Wood. Melissa worked for the Clarke County Board of Education as an accounting clerk. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Charles Darren Russell; three children: Casey and Brandon, both of Texas and Ashely (Chase) of Winder; siblings: Renee (Mark) Lackey of Texas and Mike (Vickey) Wood of Virginia; grandchildren: Elin, Rorey and Reagan and mother in law and father in law: Charles and Sybil Russell. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 2PM until 4PM at the family residence, 3871 Prospect Road, Rutledge, GA 30663.
