Melba B. Fields 88 of Colbert, passed away Saturday, January 9,2021. She was known to most as (Wee Wee). She was born January 12, 1932 in Florida and was a seamstress by trade. Preceded in death by parents Homer P Brown and Clara K Brown, husband George Fields, and father to her children Willie M Alewine, brother Homer P Brown Jr. , sister Lunette West, daughter Brenda Wimburn, sons William (Bill) Alewine and Johnny P Alewine, grandson Lee Wimburn , great-granddaughters Candace and Chasity Wimburn. Survived by children Barbara A Peterman, Frankie A McDonald (Harrison) , Willie (Buck) Alewine , Floyd (Buddy) Alewine. 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Lord and Stephens (East) graveside service, burial Colbert Ga. Colbert Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers will be Eric McDonald , Mitch Alewine, Tony Butler, Steve Bradley, Duane Jordan, William Butler, Camden , Landen Jordan , Dakota, Davis, Dayton Bradley ,Chaz, Draike McDonald, Colby, Brady Collier, Austin Alewine. In lieu of flowers friends can donate to the Madison County Animal Shelter. Graveside service will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2:00pm with visitation at 1:30pm at Colbert Cemetery.
