Maximino Salinas Gutierrez

Maximino Salinas Gutierrez, 66, of Athens Ga. passed away on July 10, 2023. Born on April 22, 1957, he was the son of the late Andrés Salinas and Basilia Gutierrez.

Maximino was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family tremendously and always put them before himself. He loved to tell jokes and could find humor in any situation.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years of married life, Alma Leticia Salinas; children, Johanna Delaluz Salinas (Felipe De la luz), Alma Salinas Hernandez (Benjamin Hernandez), Maria Salinas Jimenez (Luis Jimenez), Maximino Salinas, Santos Salinas (Santa Salinas); grandchildren, Yajaira Salinas, Dana Jimenez, Lupita Hernandez, Maximino Salinas, Uziel Hernandez, Brittany Jimenez, Stephanie Salinas, Tony Salinas, Brianna Salinas, Junior Delaluz, Genesis Hernandez, Anneliese Jimenez, Giovani Salinas, Alan Delaluz; great-grandchildren, Annie Delacruz, Hanna Delacruz, Dayana Delacruz, Leo Salinas, Elias Andrade; six brothers, three sisters.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lord & Stephens, EAST, Athens, with Angel Rosa officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
