Crawford, GA - Mattie Lee Palmer, 90, died April 12, 2007.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Wade Manual and Pearl Chambers Ogle and widow of Herbert Clyde Palmer. She was retired from Thomas Textile and was a member of Grove Chapel Congregational Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Grove Chapel with Rev. Raymond Duncan officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.V. Ogle, Mike Ogle, Billy Ogle, Hugh Ogle, Randy Ogle and Sam Christian. Honorary pallbearers will be William Miller and Ricky Miller.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty M. Jones of Winterville; sons, Coile Miller (Faye) of Winterville and Jack Miller (JoAnn) of Crawford; sister, Pearlie Mae Brooks of Athens; 9 grandchildren and a number of great and great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
