Mary Elizabeth Dean Jones, 93, of Colbert, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

Born in Atlanta, she was a daughter of the late Paul Tevis Dean and Lillian Johnson Dean. Mary was a graduate of Girls High School in Atlanta and a former member of Lilburn First Baptist Church. After she moved to Colbert, she transferred her membership to Colbert First Baptist Church where she was in the Fidelis Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Beecher Jones and her brothers-in-law, Gilbert Jones and Franklin "Red" Harwell.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Jane Jones, Lavern Harwell and Areatha Keesey and their families.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 am at Colbert First Baptist Church with Rev. Brad Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Colbert First Baptist Church, PO Box 318, Colbert, GA 30628.
