Mary Louise (Cowart) Whitehead

Mrs. Mary Louise Whitehead, age 78 of Hull passed away October 17, 2013. Mrs. Whitehead was born on October 29, 1934 to Leroy and Mary Smith Cowart. She was a homemaker and will always be remembered as being avid Elvis fan.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her daughter Loretta Whitehead Roberts, son Hassie Whitehead, sisters Lois Booth, Ruby Scogin, and brother Bobby Cowart. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Elmer Whitehead; sisters, Eloise Whitehead, Naomie Casey, Cora Crockett, Faye Horne, Velma Cowart; brothers, Roy Charles Cowart, Gene Cowart, Benny Cowart; grandchildren, Brandy Tiller, Brady Whitehead (Dawn), Andrew Eberhart; great grandchildren, Mason Whitehead, Rihanna Walker.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 6 until 9 PM. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 3 PM with the Revs. Buford Lockman and Dennis Dodge officiating. Interment will be in the Hull Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brady Whitehead, Andrew Eberhart, Jason Casey, Charles Cowart, Gary Booth, Chris Booth.
