Comer, GA - Mary Frances Welch passed away March 7, 2007.
She was born to Joseph Preston and Mattie Elizabeth Wilson on September 10, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Welch, son, Toby Welch, daughters, Betty Bray and Pansy Sloan and one brother, Bennie Wilson.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2007, at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Gerald Brunson officiating. Interment will be in Welch Family Cemetery.
Survivors include her sons, Allen Welch and C. Dwaine Welch of Comer; daughters, Theresa Fowler of Comer, and Connie Richardson of Erwin, TN. She was blessed with eighteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Dan Wilson and Tommy Wilson of Colbert, GA, sister, Lauranell Rogers of Comer, and a great number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Bullins, Matthew Patman, Derrick Chandler, Michael White, Michael Patman, and Billy Rogers.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home and may be reached at Mrs. Welch's residence.
