Athens - Mary Lou Toney, 89, died July 11, 2006.
A native of Walton County, she was a daughter of the late William S. and Mary Lola Collins Harrison, and the widow of F. Earle Toney. She was employed for thirteen years with St. Maryís Hospital and was a member of Christian Life Worship Center.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 13, 2006, at 11:00 AM at Christian Life Worship Center with Revs. John Ingham and O. C. Collins officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Myron K. and Judy Toney of Greenwood, SC; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn T. and Stanley Strickland of Watkinsville; two sisters, Ida Ruth Collins of Newnan, GA and Clyde Welborn of Monroe, GA; four grandchildren, Jennifer Lancaster of Bogart, Barry Strickland of Watkinsville, Melody Jones of Greenwood, SC, and Glenn Toney of Royston, GA; six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Life Worship Center, 125 Kathwood Drive, Athens, GA 30607.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
