Mary Beilman Pleger

Mary Beilman Pleger, 89, of Athens, Georgia, who was born August 13, 1935 in Miami, FL to the late Melvin J. Beilman and Vivian E. Beilman, passed away September 27, 2024. Mary was the wife of 63 years to the late Gary L. Pleger. Survivors include her daughter. Christina (Chris) Phillips and husband Tony, daughter Cynthia (Cindy) Mackey and husband Tim, her son Steve Pleger and wife Paula; grandchildren: Ryan Phillips and wife Scarlett, Gina Mackey, David Mackey, Kristin Casper, and Sophia Pleger. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Crawford W. Long School of Nursing in Atlanta, GA. She was a Registered Nurse who worked at Athens General Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia. She attended St. Joseph’s Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Her family will hold a private service in her memory and to celebrate her life.
