Winterville - Mary Carolyn Phillips, 62, died July 9, 2005.
A lifelong resident of Winterville, GA, she was a daughter of the late William Howard Dunaway and Betty White Katzmann. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winterville.
Funeral services will be Monday, July 11, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Rev. Howard Conine will officiate. Interment will be in Winterville Cemetery.
Athens Clarke County Fire Department Honor Guard will serve as pallbearers.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Virgil E. Phillips; son, William Howard Phillips and wife Pam of Winterville; daughter, Trudy Brady and husband Edward of Watkinsville; five grandchildren, Kasey Phillips, Karley Phillips, Whitney Brady, Brandi Brady, and Chase Brady.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Winterville Cemetery Fund.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
