Mary Edelman Peters, 86 of Ware Shoals, SC passed away February 22, 2014.
A native of Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary O Edelman. Mrs. Peters retired from the University of Georgia Libraries.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Lynda Dianne Shaver; husbands, Robert S. Johnson, Sr., and George Archie Peters; four brothers; two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Robert S. Johnson, Jr,; three grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of the arrangements.
