Mary Perry

Athens, GA - Mary Shelton Perry, 83, died September 6, 2011, surrounded by family, when her loving heart gave out.
A longtime resident of Athens, Mrs. Perry had been a member of the Bentley Assisted Living community in Jefferson, GA, for the past three years. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. G. "Gip" Perry.
Graveside services will be Friday, September 9, 2011, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include five children - Chuck Perry of Atlanta, David K. Perry of Athens, Joe Perry of Nicholson, Lynn Elliott of Colbert, and Dani Adkins of Winterville; three sisters - Jeanette Hamel of Baldwin, MS, Katie Schroeder of San Diego, CA, and Ida Craig of Decatur; one brother - Willard Shelton of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
