Mary Jo Shelnutt Morrison, age 76, passed away March 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Morrison and parents, Mr. & Mrs. H.E. Shelnutt, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Eddy (Linda) Morrison, Mitzi (Rev. Donnie) Morrison Morgan, and Stacey (Rex) Morrison Burkhalter; sister, Emma Faulkner; brother, Montgomery Shelnutt; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4PM Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Madison Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday, March 27 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tyger Morgan, Stephen Morgan, Douglas Burkhalter, Jimmy Bird, Steven Thomason, and Andy Jordan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union Christian Church Cemetery Fund. Flowers are optional.
