Athens - Mary Moon, 70, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospice House.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 7, 2008 at 3PM at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Born in Montgomery, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Carl and Mary Roper Newton. Survivors include her son, Steve Mikul of Athens; sister, Linda Bryant of N.C.; brother, Joseph Alan Newton of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren, Anthony, Jeffery and Kelli Mikul; and one great-grandson, Conner Millholland.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 6, 2008 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1230 Baxter Street, Athens, GA 30606.
Lord & Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
