Mary B. Minish

Mary Brock Minish, 90, of Athens, died on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021. She was the daughter of the late John and Lessie Brock of Danielsville.

Mary was also preceded in death by her husband, Benson Minish, Daughter, Martha Minish, and sister, Ruby Williams.

She is survived by her son, Lee Minish, and niece, Regina Embrick and her husband Ronald Embrick, six grandchildren, Brittani Spivey and her husband Kale Spivey, Jordan Minish, Daniel Minish, Aaron Minish, Emily Larkins and her husband Ben Larkins, and Jason Bonilla and eight great grandchildren.

Mary loved to cook and tell stories and brought joy to all who knew her. She worked as a nurse and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in 1996.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lord & Stephens, West, Watkinsville and she will be laid to rest at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, April 30th, 2021 at Lord & Stephens, West, Watkinsville.
