Mary Elizabeth Lovern

Mary Elizabeth Lovern, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

A lifelong resident of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Granderson Field Lovern and Annie Laura Bradberry Lovern. Ms. Lovern was a member of Ray’s United Methodist Church. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed sending birthday cards to them yearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Davis Lovern, Sr.

Survivors include her sister, Betty Jones (Junior) of Hull; sister-in-law, Doris Lovern of Bishop; nieces and nephews. Patsy Adams, Billy Jones, Suzanne Brown, Lynn Truluck, Dave Lovern and Angie Durham and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 9, 2022 at 11:30 am at Lord and Stephens, West. Interment will follow in the Ray’s United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:30 until 11:30 at the funeral home.

Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to Rays United Methodist Church, 1521 Ray’s Church Road, Bishop, GA 30621.
