Mary Louise (Carter) Bell

Mary Louise Bell, 93, wife of the late James Lamar Bell, died Wednesday, June 29, 2022. Born in Winterville, GA she was the daughter of the late Frank Carter and Janie Lou Carter, mother to the late Neal Bell and Theresa Smith and sister to the late Ralph and Jack Carter. Mrs. Bell was a homemaker and member of Antioch Christian Church.  Survivors include her two children: Lisa (Michael) Phillips and Jimmy (Jill) Bell; grandchildren: Lacey, Marian, Jay, Alan and Lauren and seven great grandchildren and the family would like to recognize Fey Smith as her caregiver. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 11AM at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville with Rev. Derek Paul officiating. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
