On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, Mrs. Mary Lee Scott, at the age of 81, passed peacefully in her sleep in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born March 31, 1935 in Wadley, Georgia, Mary Lee Gaynor was a beautiful vivacious woman who had a positive outlook on life. Her strength and determination helped her throughout her life. She made it a point to share her gift of empowerment to everyone she met; motivating and encouraging them. A treasure of knowledge and experience, she gave pearls of her wisdom to those in need.
Mrs. Scott was a model, real-estate agent, and Christian woman. She loved to entertain, enjoy fellowship, music, laughter, dancing, reading poetry, and playing piano.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West Location.
Mrs., Scott is survived by her spouse, retired Chief Petty Officer Moses Scott-who is the love of her life, her four children: John Johnson; Valerie Harris, Daryl Scott; and TanDeKaH Scott, her nine grandchildren, her fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
Mary will be missed dearly and she will always be in our hearts.
