Rachel Hunsinger, 73, passed away March 14, 2009.
A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late David and Lethia Kirk. She was a seamstress for many years.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Entombment will be at Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include her husband, Robert H. Hunsinger; three sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel R. (Ginny) Hunsinger of Athens; Robert H. (Tonda) Hunsinger, Jr. of Springfield, VA and Mike (Leslie) Hunsinger of Watkinsville; two sisters, Jeanette King of Hull and Sue Abercrombie of Danielsville; brother, Ronald Kirk of Danielsville; seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Steve Whitley, Zack Jones, Gary Beale, Greg Abercrombie, Tyler Hunsinger, Matthew Kirk and Jimmy King.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
