Athens, GA - Mary Mills Huff, 86, died August 25, 2011.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Charlie and Mary Ophelia Bell Mills. For a number of years she was employed with Thomas Textile and was retired from Athens Insurers. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 40 years.
Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church with Revs. Terry Smith and Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Ingram, Charlie Marcus, Ralph Costa, Billy Williams, Dennis Alewine and Larry Toney.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, James Wesley Huff; son, Frank Dayton Huff and his wife Andrea, of Guyton; sister-in-law, Minnie Turner; brother-in-law, Archie Peck and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Debbie Howard and all of Odyssey Hospice staff.
