Mary Helen Burkhalter Hicks, 69, died October 2, 2005.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late George David Burkhalter and Flora Mae Craft Durden and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hicks.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Rev. Charles Pirkle officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include Bernice Martin, Thelma Ross, Juanita Henson, Sandra Mobley, Eugene Burkhalter, Ben Burkhalter, Charlie Burkhalter, Mack Burkhalter, Tony Burkhalter and Nashea Burkhalter.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.
