Mary Ann (Gunter) Hammonds

Mary Ann Hammonds, 80, wife of the late Larry Paul Hammonds, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018. A native of Walton County, she was the daughter of the late Jewell and Mary Tanksley Gunter and sister to the late Evelyn Lee and Peggy Williams. Ann retired from Bellsouth after 33 years and was a member of Light House Church of God. Survivors include her sons; Mike (Janice) Stephens of Statham, Chris (Sunshine) Hammonds of Nicholson; sisters: Julia (Buren) Roberts of Eatonton and Brenda Jones of The Villages, FL; brother: Tommy (Sue) Gunter of Macon and three grandsons: Jacob, John and Jeb Hammonds. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12, 2018 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Revs. Steven Henderson and Buren Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Thursday, January 11, 2018.
