Mary Frances Lord Ginn, 95, died September 12, 2009.
A native of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Mary Elizabeth Shelnutt and Benjamin Hampton Lord, and was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Ginn. She was a member of High Shoals Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for many years.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 14, 2009 at 3:30 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST with Revs. Doug Bowers and Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Neal Ginn (Don) Thomas; grandchildren, Beth (Bill) Sosebee, Robin (Jim) Pannell, Jeff (Starr) Thomas, and Wade Thomas, all of High Shoals; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Ben (Martha) Lord; sister-in-law, Nell Lord, all of Athens.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
