Mary "Frankie" (Roberts) Drake

March 4, 1937 — August 24, 2013

Mary Frankie Roberts Drake, age 76, passed away on August 24, 2013. She was a resident of Madison County and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Ila. She was known for being loving and giving. Everyone loved Frankie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Drake; parents, William & Myrtie Roberts; and brother, William L. Roberts.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Shellie Drake; sisters, Juanita (Thomas) Bruce, Ida Mae (David) Coker; brothers, Lindberg (Mary) Roberts, Alfred (Frances) Roberts, Talmadge Roberts; grandson, AJ Bond; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Patty Irvin, and her two children, April Evans and Justyn Whitley.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Brown Chapel, Danielsville. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8PM on Thursday, August 29.
