Athens - Mary Frances McClure Fields, 90, died May 15, 2007.
Born in Charleston, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Grover and Myrtle Iverson McClure and widow of Andrew Franklin Fields. She made her home in Athens, most of her life, where she was a loving mother, housewife, and member of Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Ricketts and Joe Campbell officiating.
Survivors include her children, Nancy Bischoff (Mark), of Athens, and James Franklin (Jimmy) Fields, of Statham; grandchildren, Michael Bischoff (Mary), Joy Meadows (Ivan), Hope Austin (Glenn) and Matt Bischoff; grandchildren, Andy Fields (Paige) and Cindy Shirey (Lee), and their mother, Sandra; 10 great-grandchildren; cousins, Charlotte Bailey and Frank McClure and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter, 2970 Peachtree Road NW, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30305.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
