Sanford Community - Mary Lou Fields Dillard, 95, died September 29, 2008.
Born in Union County, she was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Nellie Gillespie Fields. She was preceded in death by twins, Harry and Larry Dillard and was the widow of William Otis Dillard. She was a homemaker and member of Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church with Revs. Billy Pittman and Bill Coady officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Survivors include her children, Kenneth Fielding (Geneva Marshall) Dillard, Gloria Andrea (Glenn) Epps and Sarah Paulette (Eddie) Cooper; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Memorials may be made to Gordon's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
