Carnesville, GA - Mary Elizabeth Cothran, 68, died November 30, 2007.
A native of DeKalb County, she was a daughter of Mary Katherine Buchanan Blalock of Snellville, GA and the late Roy Marion Blalock, and was the widow of Marion "Buddy" Demar Cothran. Mrs. Cothran lived in Gwinnett County most of her life before moving to Franklin County in 2004.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 3, 2007, at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson, GA.
Survivors in addition to her mother include a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Katherine Cothran of Royston, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Fred Parsons of Guyton, GA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Jimmy Haralson of Snellville, GA and Betty and William Howard of Rutledge, GA; three grandchildren, Chevyonne Cothran, Bridgett DeLeon, and Lydia Cothran; three great grandchildren, Meiko DeLeon, Adrion DeLeon and Alana Estredge; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
