Mary Eritha Cartledge

Hull - Mary Eritha Cartledge, 92, died Sunday, June 20, 2010 at Winterville Assisted Living where she had been a resident of for the past 4 years.
A native of Madison County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh E. and Omie Glenn White. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Cartledge, Jr., brothers, Robert White and William White. She retired as a secretary from R. W. Porterfield, and was a member of Gordon Chapel United Methodist Church and the Madison County Pilot Club.
She is survived by special family members, Randy and Becky Jones, Blake Jones and Samantha Jones as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the Staff of Winterville Assisted Living.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Randy Crowe officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Blake Jones, Charles Burkhalter, Jr., Brent Burkhalter, Melvin Pierce, Ken Deal, Gene Lackey, Shawn Koch and Marvin Gravenor. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Ashworth and Glenn Austin.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
