Mary Burger

Mary Ella Burger, 82, of Watkinsville, died May 6, 2015. Born in Watkinsville, she was a daughter of the late Hubert and Sallie Mae Christopher Fielding and widow of Clarence Edward Burger, her husband of 47 years. She worked at Thomas Textile and Burton and Burton. Survivors include sisters, Nita Morrison and Margie Murray; brothers, Mack Fielding and George Fielding and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, WEST with Chaplain Alex Stevens officiating. Interment will be at Farmington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 until service time. Pallbearers will be Larry Parks, John Murray, Dru Crumbley, Wade Fielding, Dave Fielding, Gene Peck and Donald Hansford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Loran Smith Cancer Center, Farmington Cemetery Fund or Antioch Christian Church Cemetery Fund.
