Marvin Eugene Provost passed away on March 30, 2016 at his home at Iris Place after a long illness. He was born on March 5, 1929 in Lincoln, NE to Orison Calvin Provost and Irma Dorothy Arbogast Provost.
Marvin stated working for the United States Postal Service when he was sixteen years old. He retired after thirty-three years, twenty-four of which as Postal Inspector.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, John Calvin Provost and William Clyde Provost. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Provost Sularz of Chicago, Il, six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Oconee Memorial Park.
