Colbert - Marshall W. Yarbrough, Sr., 72, husband of Beverly Ann Yarbrough, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at his residence.
Born in Greensboro, he was the son of the late Dewey Webb and Sybil Gunter Yarbrough. He attended the University of Georgia and retired from Sears as a sales manager. He served his country in the US Navy and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Nickville.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel with Rev. Ken Swift and Rev. Connie Ivester officiating. Burial will follow in Carlton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Yarbrough, Alex Yarbrough, Bruce King, Jim Sullivan, Danny Goforth and Chris Dixon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Bill Cain, Dave West and Thomas Hawkes.
Survivors in addition to his wife include his sons and daughters-in-law: Marty and Becky Yarbrough of Hull, Doug and Michelle Yarbrough of Winder; brother: Waymon Yarbrough of Elberton; grandchildren: Brandon and his wife Christy Yarbrough, Alex Yarbrough; great grandchildren: Lee Yarbrough and Claire Yarbrough.
Lord & Stephens, Danielsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
