Marshall Fredrick Hutchinson, 84, died March 21, 2012.
A native of Knoxville, TN, he was a son of the late Nathan and Ethel Wheeler Hutchinson. Mr. Hutchinson lived in Atlanta for over fifty years before moving to the Athens area twelve years ago. He retired from Bell South after forty-three years and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Mr. Hutchinson was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-one years, Marjorie "Bobbie" Price Hutchinson; daughter, Patricia Hutchinson of Bogart; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Barbara Hutchinson of Athens; brother, Jerry Hutchinson; sister, Anita Youse, both of Jacksonville, FL.
