Athens, GA - Marshall Hunsinger, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008.
A native of Madison County, GA, he was a son of the late Charlie and Mazie Shellnutt Hunsinger and the widow of Sue Hunsinger. He was retired from the University of Georgia and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was of the Baptist faith and lived in this area all of his life.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 5, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST with Revs. Buford Lockman and Bob Bone officiating. Interment will Athens Memory Gardens.
Survivors include a brother, Bobby Hunsinger of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Dan Hunsinger, Mike Hunsinger, Charles Bone, Melvin Bone, Clarence Nalley and Curtis Hunsinger.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the American Cancer Society.
Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
