Mark Nicholas Bova, 61, went peacefully to be with the Lord on June 19, 2015. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, lived in Madison, Indiana, but spent most of his life in Athens. He is survived by his father, Donald Bova and his step-mother, Warnell, his sister, Leslie Konrad and brother-in-law, Charles Konrad, nieces, Katie and Carey Konrad, and nephew, Zachary Konrad. He is also survived by his step-sister, Pam Weaver, step-brothers, Chris and Harry Hall, several step-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Eileen. A special thanks to Mrs. Mary Kissel, founder of Georgia Options. Also, a special thanks to Mrs. Betty Nash, a special and devoted caregiver, and a list of other faithful and devoted caregivers of Georgia Options. Visitation will be held at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, at 2 p.m., Monday, June 22, and the funeral service will be at 3 p.m., at Lord and Stephens Chapel. The Reverend Ted Staton and Chris Hall will be officiating. Music will be presented by Rebecca Alpaugh and Joanne Tidwell. Pallbearers will be
Casey Cooper, Ronnie Willoughby, Olin Pickle, Mitchell Weaver, Charles Konrad and Chris Hall. Interment will be at Athens Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Georgia Options, 160 Ben Burton Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
