Lexington - Marjorie S. Silvey, 86, wife of the late Floyd S. Silvey, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Quiet Oaks Nursing Home.
A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Evie Mae Huff Smith. She was a member of Stevens Grove Baptist Church and retired from B.F. Goodrich Tires where she worked as the office manager.
Survivors include her brother and sister in law, John E. and Hannah A. Smith of Lexington, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2PM at Stevens Grove Baptist Church, Lexington, Saturday, May 26, 2007 with Rev. John McPherson officiating. Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
