Marjorie Lord, 62, died March 9, 2010.
A native of Jackson County, GA, she was a daughter of the late William Dorsey and Willie Jo Chandler Lord and was preceded in death by a sister, Trudie Collins. She was formerly employed with Westinghouse and the University of Georgia and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Albert Vaughn officiating.
Survivors include two brothers, Roderick (Lane) Lord and Chris (Brenda) Lord; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1021 Jamestown Blvd, Suite 215, Watkinsville, GA 30677.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville, is in charge of arrangements.
