Danielsville - Marion William Russum, 69, husband of Mary Carole Mann Russum, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at his residence.
A life long resident of Madison county, he was the son of the late Luther A. and Gertrude Irvin Russum. He retired from Athens Clarke County with the Water and Sewage Division after ten years of service. Mr. Russum served his country in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church. He was an avid deer hunter and Nascar fan.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons: Allen Russum, Steve (Susan) Russum, all of Danielsville; brother: Edward (Vivian) Russum, of Hull; grandchildren: Jackson Russum and his girlfriend, Gracie Faulkner and Clayton Russum.
Graveside services will be held 11AM, Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Danielsville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Larry Elliott officiating. Pallbearers will be Charles Temple, Stan Beeco, Donnie Weathersbee, Bobby Harris, Randolph Coker, Douglas Russum. Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2007 from 6 to 8PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, P. O. Box 6588, Athens, GA 30604.
