Marilyn Mae Hardigree, 78, of Durham, North Carolina, died Friday March 26, 2010.
Mrs. Hardigree was a daughter of the late Perry T and Lavena M. Streets Stanley. Mrs. Hardigree was an active member of several community groups. She was member of the Watkinsville Christian Church and active in the CWF. She was also active in the Brain Stormers Community Activist Group in Watkinsville. In Durham, NC she was active in The Becomers and the Women of the Word Bible study groups.
Including her parents, Mrs. Hardigree was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lester F. Hardigree.
Survivors include her sons, Richard E. Mead of Dorthy N.J. and William A. Mead of Stoney Creek, N.C. her daughters, Linda Ramer, Marietta, Ga. Diane Wright of Durham, N.C. 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday March 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home West Chapel with Rev. Doug Ivey officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home.
